What is SYRO?

An exam-prep platform for Edexcel International A Level. It plans your revision from the real exam dates, teaches each topic in order, marks your work the way an examiner would, and shows you exactly where marks are won and lost in past papers.

What does it cost?

Every new student gets seven days of everything, free, with no card. After that you keep a free plan for as long as you like (the daily plan, the first notes of every unit, some practice and mentor messages each week), or open everything with SYRO Full using an access code. Nobody gets surprised by a bill: there is no card on file.

Which exams does it cover?

Do I need a teacher or a tutor?

No. SYRO is built so a student can reach a top grade on their own. If you have a teacher or tutor, it works alongside them.

Where does the content come from?

Every past paper, mark scheme and examiner report Pearson has published since 2019, read question by question and tied to the specification point it tests. That is what tells SYRO which topics come up, how many marks ride on them, and the exact ways students lose those marks.

How is my work marked?

Against the same mark types examiners use: method marks, accuracy marks, follow-through. You see which mark you got, which you lost, and the one-line reason, in the wording examiners actually use.

What is a session?

About 20 to 25 minutes: a few questions chosen from what you are weakest at and what the next paper is most likely to ask. One a day is enough; the plan adapts if you miss days.

Can I use SYRO for timed practice?

Yes. Paper mode runs a real past paper in its original order and timing, then marks it part by part.

Is the question text from real papers shown?

Inside the app, yes, with the breakdown. The public past-papers pages list sittings, question numbers and marks only; the papers themselves are Pearson's and are linked from their site.

What do you collect?

Your email, name, date of birth and country at sign-up; your units, targets and attempts as you work. Page views on the site are counted without cookies and without storing your IP address.

Who can see my attempts?

You. Nobody else, no public profiles, no leaderboards. Staff see totals, not individual students, unless you report a problem and include details yourself.

Why do you ask for my date of birth?

Because many students are under 18 and the privacy rules differ. It decides which rules apply to your account and is never shown to anyone.

Do you sell data or run ads?

No, and we never will. The business is subscriptions, nothing else.

How do I delete my account?

Email us from the address you signed up with and it is gone within 30 days, attempts included. Details are in the privacy notice.

Why is there no password?

Passwords get forgotten and reused. You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, or with Google. Nothing to remember, nothing to leak.

The code never arrived.

Check spam and promotions first; the sender may not say SYRO yet. Wait 30 seconds and request another. If it still fails, use Continue with Google, or report it from the sign-in page.

Can I change my units later?

Yes, from Me. Units you remove are dropped from the plan; units you add get scheduled from their exam date.

No. SYRO is independent. Past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports are Pearson's and remain their copyright.
